The name Click2Scan was decided on in December 2005. Martin Peirce had just joined a Telecoms company in Bristol called Solar Communications and was asked to introduce document management solutions to the company, building on several years worth of expertise after having recently left Canon.
In March of 2006 the Click2Scan online store was launched and business began. By chance one of the sales team at Solar asked Martin if he could organise a scanning job for a local ground works company. That was the start of what is now an ever-growing and successful document management company.
