What is FileDirector ?

Before iTunes, our music was stored in CD's , tapes or Vinyl.

If we wanted to listen to our favourite Bruce Springsteen album and it was in the car we had to either go and fetch it or choose another disk. You then opened up a Coldpay CD case to find it was empty - missing in action - either in the CD player, misplaced or put in the wrong cover. Along came iTunes and these problems were gone for ever. Using search we can now jump straight to Kasabian, and start playing Shoot The Runner.  Once the music is in iTunes it can easily be shared, copied, searched, categorised and more.
